Another Patent Prosecution Highway (PPH) pilot project was signed by the Brazilian Patent and Trademark Office (INPI-BR) last Tuesday, March 15th in São Paulo. The event was attended by Mr. Pascal Faure (Executive Director of INPI France) and the President of INPI Brazil, Dr. Claudio Vilar Furtado.
The project will be valid for 5 (five) years, with an expected start date of May 1, 2022. Through the PPH, the results of the Brazilian patent examinations may be used in France and vice versa.
