Aiming to promote the generation of new Industrial Property assets and convert them into economic assets, Brazil and Denmark launched a cooperation project on innovation.
The beginning of the implementation was marked by an online event held on 09/15/2020. Mr. Carlos da Costa, Special Secretary for Productivity, Employment and Competitiveness of the Ministry of Economy; the Brazilian PTO President Mr. Cláudio Vilar Furtado; and The Danish ambassador, Nicolai Prytz attended the event.
The Brazilian PTO President, Mr. Cláudio Vilar Furtado, mentioned that the discussion between Brazilians and Danishes has begun with a Patent Prosecution Highway (PPH) project and it has evolved into a deeper collaboration, which may be a model for the world.
The first action of that project was a webinars series with 5 webinars on Agriculture, Agribusiness and Innovation in a Danish-Brazilian context held from 17th to 23rd September, 2020.
